Jammers try again tonight, whilst the Urchins now know their opponents

Haringey Borough still can't plan their FA Trophy travels, but Maldon & Tiptree can join them and Hornchurch in the Fourth Round tonight

After suffering from covid issues at the weekend, Maldon & Tiptree are back in the pink tonight and finally welcome Gloucester City to Essex, as they look to add another scalp to a list of slain giants which already includes Enfield Town, Kingstonian, Haringey Borough, Braintree Town and Bognor Regis Town.

City will be their toughest nut to crack so far, as they sit at the top of National League North, four points clear. They defeated former Isthmian side- these days in Pitching In Southern Premier Central- Needham Market four-two in the last round, and on Friday signed two players on loan from Coventry City, because obviously they aren’t strong enough already and are terrified of the Jammers!

Sadly the match is behind closed doors. The winners will take on Wealdstone.

Hornchurch last night learned that their Fourth Round opponents will be Kings Lynn Town, who won three-one at Alfreton Town last night. Town are currently nineteenth in the National League, and are scheduled to travel to Essex on 16th January.

Haringey Borough should have learned last night whether they face a trip to Oxford City or Truro City, but that wait continues as the White Tigers have had to isolate due to a positive covid test.
