Nathan Jones signs for Marlow- and makes a fine start

Marlow yesterday announced the signing of Nathan Jones from Thatcham Town- and the player made an immediate impact in their match at Chipstead, scoring the opening goal in a two-one victory.

Midfielder Nathan has already made twenty seven Kingfishers appearances this season- with one goal- and that followed thirty seven last season, and twenty six during 21-22. He was the captain, and will be a big loss to his former side. He was part of the Thatcham side which won one-nil against his new club on the opening day, and he is scheduled to face the Kingfishers on Saturday April 6th.

He sent a message to his former club on social media, stating:

'I want to thank the fans, players, coaches and everyone else at Thatcham for the past 3 seasons- through the highs and the lows I’ve learnt a lot and wouldn’t change any of it.'
