Keeper and defender for Bay

Dagenham goalkeeper Josh Strizovic makes a Herne Bay debut- with new defender Briggs Ojemen on the bench

Herne Bay gave a debut to a new goalkeeper in Saturday's defeat at Enfield Town, Josh Strizovic making the move from Dagenham and Redbridge.

Josh started his career at Braintree Town, moved on to Burnham Ramblers, and then joined Billericay Town for the start of the 2018-19 campaign. He ended that season at Maidstone United, before moving to spend some loan time at Romford. He also spent some time on loan at Basildon United, playing five times during 2018-19, and spent a chunk of last season in Pitching In Southern Premier with Harrow Borough.

Another signing, Briggs Ojemen, spent the afternoon on the bench. Briggs is a defender who was once an Under 18 for the Daggers, and previously played for Bromley, Welling United and briefly for Romford and Glebe. He moved to Whyteleafe on loan during the unfinished 2019-20 campaign, and has since spent time at Leatherhead and Guildford City.
