K's bring in Wands winger

Rhys Murrell-Williamson joins Kingstonian- and thirteen others stay on

Kingstonian last night announced the signing of Cray Wanderers winger Rhys Murrell-Williamson.

Rhys played fourteen times for the Wands last season, and weighed in with an impressive five goals. That followed three goals in ten matches in the previous restricted campaign. He finished last season on loan at Welling United after our campaign came to a premature end.

Prior to his time at Hayes Lane he did actually play a few matches for the K's, on loan from Woking, scoring four goals in six matches.

He joined the Wands in January of last year, moving over from Braintree Town, and scored on his debut against Bowers and Pitsea. As well as Woking, Cray, Welling and the K's he has also turned out for Billericay Town, Hampton & Richmond, Boreham Wood, Dulwich Hamlet, Harrow Borough and Sutton United. Earlier in his career he played youth football for Fulham, Crystal Palace and Celtic.

In other K's news, the club have announced the retention of Rob Tolfrey, Mason Whitnell, Harry Osborne, Fabio Saraiva, Simon Cooper, Declan Skura, Ollie Cook, Kenny Beaney, Gus Sow, Lewis Pearch, Teo Kurtaran, Juevan Spencer and Tom Howard from last year's squad. Jake Hutchings, Tom Kavanagh, Tom Richards, Kadell Daniel and Andre Coker are departing- Daniel was yesterday announced as a new signing for Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Apparently there will be seven signings announced this week, with Rhys only the first!
