Cugley, the club’s manager for the last 19 years, and Egan, the director of sales & marketing at the Fullicks Stadium for the last four, now hold full voting rights on all the major issues.
Invicta chairman Jim Pellatt announced the pair were being recognised for their services ahead of the club’s 1-0 win at Corinthian-Casuals on Saturday.
In a statement on behalf of the club’s board, he said: "Cliff's immense contribution in completely overhauling the club's commercial, sales and marketing activities, is well documented and Cliff's experience in those fields, and knowledge of football in general will make him an invaluable member of our board.

“Neil Cugley has been so much more than a football manager for many years and particularly the last five. He was a tremendous and invaluable ally during that very difficult period in Folkestone Invicta's history and put his own personal ambitions to one side, operating on a very low budget to ensure the club's long-term future.
“Even then, he still managed to get us to the play-offs in three of those years. Neil's knowledge of the general running of the club gained during that time, combined with his football management skills, will enhance our board immeasurably."
Invicta's manager is pictured before the start of his 18th season at the helm receiving a bottle of champagne from supporters' club stalwart Harry Lester.
