Former Tonbridge promotion winner Arthur signs on at Carshalton

Carshalton Athletic have announced the signing of former Tonbridge Angels defender Arthur Lee, who is the latest former Angel follow former Longmead boss Steve McKimm to Colston Avenue.

Arthur came close to promotion as a mainstay of the Hendon side who were defeated in a famous shootout by Dulwich Hamlet in 2018 (is it really that long ago?). He moved to Longmead and played an important part in Angels promotion- indeed it was his free kick which was deflected home for his side's first goal in the Super Play Off Final at Met Police. He then left for Hornchurch, who still had their AFC at that point, before returning to Longmead for a taste of life in National League South.

He left the club due to work commitments in October of last year, and has been tempted back by the chance of another promotion challenge.
