Lilywhites sign a former Dart

Faversham bring in a striker

Faversham Town have announced the signing of former Dartford striker Ben Francis.

Ben isn't new to the Isthmian League, as whilst with the Darts he played on loan at both Leatherhead and Phoenix Sports. Prior to signing on at Princes Park he was a youth player with Crystal Palace, and since leaving Dartford he has played for Chatham Town, Lordswood and Cray Valley PM, but has seen his career hampered somewhat by injury.

Manager James Collins, speaking to the club website, stated:

“Ben is an all round Number 9, can run in behind or play as a hold-up man. He’s got plenty of energy and has a knack for scoring goals. Injuries have stopped him from reaching his full potential so far, but I’m sure he will fulfil that potential at Faversham Town.”
