Look out, Wasps!

Glenn and Arsen sign on at East Grinstead Town

East Grinstead Town have announced the arrival of Met Police midfielder Arsen Ukjaj, and the return for another campaign of defender Glenn Wilson.

Arsen played for new Wasps boss Tony Reid at Westfield, making fifty nine appearances as the club made the Playoffs during the 2018-19 campaign and were in the top five once more when 2019-20 came to an early end. His time at Met Police was cut short by the pandemic, and he has decided to reunite with his former manager in Sussex.

Defender Glenn came to prominence not too far up the road from East Court, as he was a big part of the Crawley Town squad which reached the Fifth Round of the FA Cup and won promotion from the Conference in 2011. He spent five years with the Red Devils, and was a big favourite with the fans as he was never less than fully committed to the cause. He went on to play for Salisbury City, Aldershot Town, Margate, Greenwich Borough, Wealdstone and Hornchurch, amongst others, and spent the 2019-20 season at Enfield Town. He managed six appearances for the Wasps before last season came to a premature end, with the side unbeaten in the Pitching In Isthmian South East Division.
