Lovatt for the Swans

Bromley forward Finlay Lovatt makes a Walton move

Walton Casuals have added another pair of boots to their already impressive array of attacking talent, with the loan arrival of Bromley forward Finlay Lovatt.

Finlay won't be a new name to watchers of our league. He ended last season on loan at Merstham, making twelve appearances and scoring two goals, and prior to that was on loan at Bognor Regis Town, where he made five appearances and scored a crucial goal in a win over Corinthian-Casuals.

In the early part of last season he spent a short time at Chipstead- but afterwards became part of the first team squad at his National League side, and made his first team debut against Rotherham United in the First Round of the FA Cup last November. He has also had a loan spell in National League South, at Billericay Town.

Finlay moved to Bromley in the summer of last year from Leyton Orient, where he had played since joining the club as an Under Nine. He has also had a trial at Premier League Watford as an Under 16.
