M25- partial closure on Saturday

By Ian Townsend

The M25 will be closed between Junctions 10 and 11 from Friday evening until Monday morning. Please plan accordingly!

Unusually, one of the worst sections of the M25- an area where we're sure that many of you have regularly wasted great chunks of your lives in non-moving or slow-moving traffic- will not have wall to wall congestion this weekend. Sadly, however, that's because it's closed!

The Highways Agency have announced that this coming weekend the M25 will be closed between Junctions 10 (A3 / Wisley Interchange) & 11 (Chertsey) from 9:00pm on Friday March 15 until 6:00am on Monday March 18. This will of course also impact the surrounding roads as diversions are in place and they are reporting that it could even affect drivers going to Gatwick which is Junction 7 on the M25.

If you were planning to head in that direction- and looking at the fixture list some of you might have had plans to do so- then please be aware and plan accordingly!

And please be aware, there may be more, similar closures as the year progresses- they just haven't yet decided on when.
