Dean Hammond comes out of retirement to join our League leaders


Former Leicester City midfielder already has a Premier League title winners medal- and perhaps he wants a Premier Division title winners medal to go with it, as it has just been announced that he has come out of retirement to join Worthing.

Dean, who started his career at Brighton & Hove Albion where he played alongside Worthing manager Adam Hinshelwood. He also played for Southampton, Sheffield United and Colchester. He retired from playing in August 2017 but has remained involved at the King Power Stadium as part of the Academy setup, despite relocating to his home county of Sussex.
