Manager who never ducks a challenge!

With the reputation for fair play and sportsmanship that Corinthian-Casuals have always enjoyed there was never a chance that manager Matt Howard would duck a nomination to take the Ice Bucket Challenge!

Fresh from his side’s 4-1 win on Bank Holiday Monday over Walton Casuals, the Ryman South manager took a dousing for charity, pictured. Howard was nominated by reserve team boss John Chinnery who took a dunking himself over the weekend at King George’s Field to help raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Chinnery also nominated the Ryman South club's army of worldwide fans and followers to brave the ordeal but singled out Howard and his team for a special nomination on YouTube when he uploaded his own ordeal.

Players Danny Dudley, Joe Hicks, Danny Bracken and Jamie Byatt duly lined up behind their manager to support the charity and the Casuals are now hoping their combined efforts will inspire the club’s 120,000 plus fans on Facebook and 8,000 on Twitter to follow in their footsteps or like thousands joining in the craze around the world, duck out and make a donation instead!

To donate £5 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association text ICED55 to 70070.
