Melford back at Heath

South Park striker Melford Simpson is at Haywards Heath once more

Haywards Heath Town have announced the return to the club of man mountain striker Melford Simpson, for- if we've got the maths correct- his fifth spell with the club.

Melford spent last season with South Park in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, managing an impressive nineteen goals in thirty appearances- including a hat trick against Guernsey. His side only lost two of the matches he scored in during the campaign, so he wasn't just a consistent goalscorer, he also brought them luck!

Prior to the Sparks, he was with Leatherhead, but only managed two appearances for the Tanners.

Apart from his many spells with Heath, he previously played for Shoreham, in Wales for Connah's Quay Nomads, and for Fisher, Aylesbury United, Uxbridge and Hayes and Yeading United, amongst others.
