O’Shane Stewart arrives on loan

Merstham have announced the signing of midfielder O’Shane Stewart on loan from Southend United.

O'Shane is a former Shrimpers scholarship student, joining the club in 2014, and is currently a member of their Under 21 squad. A sometime vice-captain of the Merit League One title-winning squad in 2018/19, he was offered a new contract by the League One club in May.

He previously spent some time on loan at Margate this season, making nine appearances and scoring one goal- in FA Cup defeat against Oxford City.
