Hullbridge bring in former Seed Grower

Hullbridge Sports last night announced the signing of former Heybridge Swifts and Coggeshall Town midfielder George Cocklin.

George ended last season at Heybridge Swifts- his second spell with the club- but he started 2019-20 at Coggeshall Town, playing twenty one times. He managed only six appearances at Scraley Road before the campaign crashed to a halt, scoring against Canvey Island in a four-all draw.

He was an almost ever-present for the Seed Growers during the 2018-19 season, playing forty three times as they qualified for the North Division Playoffs in their first season in the Division. He previously played for Romford and Witham Town.
