Moatsiders bring in Dockers midfielder...

By Ian Townsend

...and he scored on his debut

Merstham last week brought in midfielder Calvin Ekpiteta from Tilbury- and he scored on his debut against Bowers and Pitsea after coming on as a second half substitute. Calvin made nine appearances for the Dockers this season, scoring two goals, and has already got half of that total for the Moatsiders- and also played in Saturday's thrashing at Worthing.

Calvin spent part of last season at Wingate & Finchley, playing six times, joining the Blues from East Thurrock United, who were at that point in National League South. He previously played for Bishop's Stortford, and has also spent time at Greenwich Borough, Metropolitan Police, Grays Athletic and Aveley.

He began his career as a youth player with Dartford.
