We mourn the passing of Worthing Life President Morty

National League South side Worthing- who are still our reigning Pitching In Isthmian champions- have announced the sad passing of their Life President, Morty Hollis.

Prior to this season, Worthing had been an Isthmian club for more than four decades. Morty was, perhaps more than anyone, Mr Worthing during that period. Dedicated to his club, a welcoming presence at Woodside Road, and a fine Isthmian.

We join with his club is mourning his passing, and send our deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and to all at the club.

Rest in Peace Morty, and thank you for everything.
