My First XI 21/22: James Brown

By Ian Townsend

James has a long lens view of the action, as he takes Pitching In pictures for Northwood. Here’s his Isthmian South Central Division First XI

James gives us both a fabulous side and lots of detail. Let us know what you think.

Formation: 4-3-3

GK - Simon Grant - Marlow - Best Keeper in the league. From shot stopping to distribution and motivating the team. Big character and completely bonkers. He doesn’t have a good yellow card record. If he can cut the yellow cards, he will be a great signing for Bracknell - making them even harder to score against.

RB - Isaac Olorunfemi - Marlow - Experienced wing back at this level. He has pace, can cross well, tackles and can score.

CB - James Gurteen - Northwood - Very solid defender, comfortable on the ball, good tackler and reads the game well.

CB - Daniel Bayliss - Bracknell Town - Best defender in the league and is the main reason why Bracknell have such a good defensive record.

LB - Giovanni Palmer - Bedfont Sports - He has pace, strength, can cross and tackles well. He was good for Northwood even though Northwood were really struggling then but he has really shined at Bedfont Sports.

DM - Keagan Cole - Northwood - Captain and most important player for Northwood. He has great vision, reads the game well and passing skills. Most of the attacks starts from Keagan and is very solid in the holding midfield role.

AM - George Nicholas - Hanwell Town - Big admirer of George since playing for Northwood and Harrow Borough. He has been great for Hanwell Town this season. Has all the attributes for an attacking midfielder.

AM - Sam Shaw - Uxbridge - Had a fantastic few seasons with Harefield Utd , started the season with Walton Casuals and then signed with Uxbridge. Versatile player, can play in any attacking position and can score goals. Very impressive ball control, vision, set pieces and creating goals. Hidden gem - If he is used the right way, he can be very dangerous.

ST - Seb Bowerman - Bracknell Town - Best player in the league. He has natural talent, dribbling skills, vision, pace and scores goals.

ST - Aaron Macleish-White - Bracknell Town - Very experienced striker and knows how to score goals. Started the season with Southall, joined Ashford (Middx) and finally Bracknell Town. Impressive goalscoring record for all those teams.

ST - Ogo Obi - Hanwell Town - Goal scoring machine and best striker in the league for me. He has been vital for Hanwell Town this season.
