National Gate Service

By Ian Townsend

Both Margate and Wingate & Finchley announce free entry for NHS staff

We've got our very own National Gate Service, as two of our Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division clubs reward NHS staff for their wonderful work by letting them into league matches for nothing.

Margate explain:

'It's been a tough few years for football clubs. It's been even tougher for those bravely working at the frontline of our national health service.

As a gesture of our appreciation, Margate FC will be offering free entry to our 2021/22 Isthmian League games for those working in the NHS. All you need to do is present your staff card at turnstiles to gain entry.'

Wingate and Finchley have been letting in NHS staff for quite a while, and this season have announced that they can even bring a plus one. They state:

'Our thanks will always remain with our #NHSHeroes for all their amazing work. As a result, we will continue to give FREE entry to NHS staff (and a +1) for any home league game next season!

Please bring NHS ID.'

Well done to both clubs. We're sure they won't be the only ones taking this step, and we'll let you know details of any others once announced.
