Nelson for the Rooks

Craig Nelson is the new boss at Lewes

(We're catching up with stories that broke whilst we were on our holidays)

Lewes followed their Italian holiday and the departure of boss Tony Russell with the announcement that their new manager would be former Glebe boss Craig Nelson (May 18th).

Craig took Glebe to the top of the Southern Counties East Premier last season before surprisingly departing in March, his team with a three point lead at the summit. They eventually finished third and lost in the Play Off Semi Final.

He is not entirely new to the Isthmian League, as he was here as a player with Tooting and Mitcham United.
