Bedfont Sports announce new Chair and Vice Chair

Bedfont Sports have announced two new names at the top table as they plan for the 2021-22 Pitching In Isthmian South Central season.

Sports, who sadly lost their inspirational chairman Dave Reader in November last year, have appointed Craig Woodbridge as Chairman and Stephen Bickel as Vice-Chairman. Both are long-serving, dedicated club men, and are stepping up after doing wonderful work with the junior section, Bedfont Eagles.

Speaking to the club website, Craig explained:

'I am very proud and honoured to become Bedfont Sports Chairman. Its an absolute privilege to take on this role after being Bedfont Eagles Chairman for a number of years. This was an opportunity that I could not refuse, and I will now do my upmost to make everyone involved in the club proud, especially my good friend David Reader. I'm excited for what the future hold for me and the club, and would like to thank both Terry and Gladys Reader for honouring me with the privilege to carry on the amazing legacy that David put in place.'
