#NoHomeKit- it's today!

The Pitching In Isthmian League is, as you know, supporting the #NoHomeKit Shelter campaign today- along with the vast majority of our clubs. Many thanks to all who are about to take part, and to all who have donated to Shelter or who will donate today. Don't forget to post your pictures!

Homelessness in the UK, and housing more generally, is reaching a critical point. Over 180,000 households have been made homeless since the start of the pandemic. Shelter's work is more important than ever and football is key to their strategy in tackling the housing emergency over the next three years. With our Clubs' unique connection to communities across the country Shelter hope that supporting this Campaign may help raise the awareness of homelessness, as well as the idea of "home", linking football and the cause, on which this whole campaign is based.

We'd ask our supporters attending matches TODAY to ditch their home colours if they can, and wear (where possible) their favourite away or third kit. We'd also like everyone to post images of themselves on social media wearing their shirts, and using the hashtag #NoHomeKit. If supporters and clubs can tag in the league and Shelter on Twitter, we'll give you a retweet!

There is also the option to donate to Shelter through its website or by text message- text ‘HOME’ to 70455 to donate £5. Think of it like non-uniform day at school: you wear something to show your support and donate a few pounds to the cause.
