Nuts and Bolts help to raise funds for Rhyle

Ashford United turn to crowdfunding to help with medical treatment for their stricken midfielder

Ashford United- and their fans- are backing a fundraising effort designed to help midfielder Rhyle Ovenden to get back on his feet.

Rhyle sustained a cruciate ligament injury against Faversham Town on Ney Years Day, and so far his medical treatment has cost the not inconsiderable sum of sixteen thousand pounds. The club have rallied around their star and will play a benefit match for him in the summer, as well as organising a bucket collection at tonight's Pitching In Isthmian South East Play Off Semi-Final against Cray Valley PM, but they'd also like you to dig deep if you can't get to either of those games, and have organised a crowd funder.
