Oaks sign a Dart

Ahead of tonight's match against Haywards Heath, Sevenoaks strengthen

Sevenoaks Town have announced the signing- on dual registration terms- of Dartford midfielder Ryan Hayes.

Ryan is a Dartford Legend, and apart from one small spell at Concord Rangers has been with the Princes Park side since 2005. At the start of this season he had made 448 starts, 161 substitute appearances, and scored 109 goals for the National League South side. He knows what it takes to win an Isthmian promotion, as he did it twice.

He advised the local press at the start of this season that he expected it to be his last at Step Two, because he wanted to end his Darts career on a high, but that he wanted to continue playing after leaving the club.

He may make his Oaks debut this evening, in the home fixture against Haywards Heath Town which kicks off at 7.30 PM.
