Chatham Town bring in Bradley Sach and Stuart O'Keefe

Chatham Town have begun their preparations for the forthcoming Pitching In Isthmian Premier season with a double signing, Bradley Sach and Stuart O'Keefe agreeing terms.

Striker Bradley was a youth at Boreham Wood, prolific in front of goal. He spent time at Grays Athletic on loan before signing permanently at Potters Bar Town, where he scored two goals in three matches during 2017-18, played forty seven times the following season, and made another thirty eight appearances- with nine goals- during 2019-20.

He then moved on to Aveley, scoring three in ten during the very short 2020-21 campaign, before joining Bowers and Pitsea, where he was a big part of their run to the First Round of the FA Cup and their match at Lincoln City. He scored seven goals for Bowers during the 21-22 season, in twenty one appearances, before making the move to Canvey Island in January 2022.

His ten goals in seventeen matches helped the Gulls to North Division promotion, and he got another twenty three in forty five matches as they returned to our top flight, his efforts helping them to reach the Play Offs. Last season saw him score sixteen times in forty five matches.

Stuart O'Keefe, a midfielder, is something of a coup- as he's never played at our level before, moving to the Chats after a distinguished professional career. He played youth football for Ipswich Town and Southend United before graduating to the Shrimpers first team, and then made a move to South London, signing for Crystal Palace. After the best part of five years with the Eagles he became a Bluebird, moving to Cardiff City, and whilst in the Welsh capital he had loan spells with MK Dons, Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle before settling down in Kent, with Gillingham. He became club captain and spent four years there, before moving to Aldershot Town last season, again becoming captain.
