Palmer heads to the Hill

Burgess Hill Town last night announced the signing of former Hythe Town midfielder Ryan Palmer- which rather caught us on the hop as it seems only five minutes since we were announcing his arrival at Merstham. Actually, having taken a quick look, it wasn't five minutes, it was six weeks!

Palmer has been at Reachfields for two seasons, and hadn't played a competitive match for the Moatsiders. In the last campaign he made twenty seven appearances as the Cannons finished in seventh place, and he made thirty five appearances and scored five goals as the club missed out on the Playoffs on goal difference in 2017/18. He previously played for Tooting & Mitcham United.
