Pitching In Isthmian South East: Supporters Predicted Table, 23-24

Our Pitching In Isthmian Supporters predictions are in their seventh season, and the debate and discussion they have created this summer- yes, it is technically summer, even if the weather pixie hasn’t noticed- has been as entertaining as usual. So, looking at the Pitching In Isthmian South East, what have you decided?

Your decision on who would be champions was remarkably clear cut. Nobody who voted placed Ramsgate any lower than second, and eighty percent of respondents placed them as champions- so, it was a battle for the Play Off places that grabbed your attention. Ashford United had a disappointing campaign last season, but you think they’ll put that right this time around, whilst you expect strong challenges from Sheppey United, relegated Herne Bay and highly-fancied Sittingbourne. You think that Cray Valley PM will miss out on a top five spot by the skin of their teeth (again), and that Beckenham Town will be just behind, along with newly promoted Erith & Belvedere.

At the other end, you predicted a three team fight for the two places that nobody wants. You suspected that Three Bridges would prop up the rest (mind you, you’ve suggested that in previous seasons, too, and been wrong!), with Horndean failing to stay up in their inaugural season, Broadbridge Heath just doing enough to stay up.

You can be fairly sure that a number of managers will be printing out this table and sticking it on their dressing room walls shortly, to motivate their players!
