We're asking fans from each of our clubs to answer a series of questions about the past, present and future- and to predict the final league table for 22-23. We’re off to beautiful Wroxham, who will effectively kick off the season for us in the FA Cup on Friday 5th August. Are you ready, Freddie?

1. Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?
Without a doubt, gaining promotion. It’s a shame we didn’t win the title after being top of the table for so long – but none of that mattered when we found out were going up based on PPG. Also, the football we played at times was sensational to watch.

2. Moving on to your current squad- which players do you think will make a big impact during the 2022-23?

Harley Black, Ryan Curtis, Ryan Miles and Ollie Sutton.

3. Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?

We’re most likely favourites to go down having just been promoted – plus we haven’t played at this level since 2017 and the league has drastically improved since then. But I still think we’ll do enough to stay up. We’ve got some great players and a good coaching staff which I think will get the job done to come to the end of the season.

4. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?

The two games against Hashtag United. We know how popular they are and the coverage they provide – so beating them and letting the world see it on YouTube would not only put us on the map but prove we belong in this league.

5. What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?

I would say Grays Athletic at the Parkside Stadium. It’s incredibly modern and is a beautiful ground for a team at this level. They’ve struck gold by being able to share this ground with Aveley.

6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?

Gorleston. They’re one of the closest teams to us and beat us to the title last season so we’re out for revenge. Plus the encounters are always feisty when we meet so I reckon the players see it in a similar light.

7. What advice would you give to any away supporter visiting you for the first time?

Bring the noise! We very rarely have away fans to bounce off so away banter is very much welcomed at Trafford Park.

8. Who is your favourite player of all time (for your club)- and why?

Simon Lappin. Even at the age of 39 he is sensational and proved he still had all his ability from his days at Norwich City and St. Mirren. Plus he’s just a great guy overall.

9. Who do you predict will finish in the top five this season?

Brentwood Town, Hashtag United, Lowestoft Town, Stowmarket Town, AFC Sudbury
