Rainbow Laces turns ten!

By Ian Townsend

It's ten years since the Rainbow Laces campaign for LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport began- and Stonewall have a new campaign to celebrate, as we 'Lace Up to Keep it Up'

It's been an entire decade since the Rainbow Laces campaign began- and Stonewall, the group behind the idea, have a new campaign beginning this weekend which asks all clubs, and indeed their supporters, to get involved.

Each of our clubs have been sent rainbow armbands for their captains, and if clubs or individuals have any special plans they can contact Stonewall here. You can also find out more- and order laces if you need them- here.

Congratulations to all behind the campaign on its tenth anniversary. We realise that there's much more left to do to create inclusive environments which allow LGBTQ+ people to feel welcome in sport, and we're delighted to be involved.
