Rangers step up to feed hungry children

Soham show their community spirit

Soham Town Rangers have announced themselves as the Marcus Rashford of the Isthmian League by kindly volunteering to feed local children during the half term break.

In a statement on their Facebook Page, the club explain:

'Soham Town Rangers is your community club and we’d like to support the community.

If you have- or know of- any children that will go hungry next week in half term please contact chairman Mark Goldsack.

We will provide a lunch for anyone that presents themselves at our club between 12-2pm Monday to Friday next week.

A simple hot meal, free of charge, to any school age children accompanied by a parent or guardian. No questions or judgement. This is our way of supporting tomorrow’s players and fans and saying thank you from our club.

All at STRFC wish all children a joyous, safe and hunger free school holiday.

For further details of how to attend, or if you’d like to volunteer to help, please call Mark on 07831-168899.'
