Regent borrow Clarets forward

Reggie Gregory comes in at Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Regent have made an attacking addition to their squad ahead of today's FA Cup match at Leiston, with Reggie Gregory signing on at the seaside.

Reggie made the first team squad at Chelmsford City aged sixteen, and is very highly thought of at the National league South side- their youngest senior player in forty years. Steve Pitt, these days an important part of the Regent management team but formerly Director of Football at- you've guessed it- Chelmsford City, has high praise for the new arrival.

“I saw Reggie blossom under Micky Spillane first hand last season in the Chelmsford City academy FA Youth Cup, run which led to his Clarets 1st team debut with us at home to Chippenham Town.

He is a very bright young player and I am sure this loan will assist his own future development,” he told the Regent website.
