Regent bring in Salako

Former Tilbury and Maldon man signs on in Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Regent have announced the signing of forward Michael Salako from Essex Senior League side Stansted.

Michael was last an Isthmian player during the 2019-20 campaign, when he made a few appearances for Hullbridge Sports. He was with Tilbury during 2016-17 and 2017-18, and Maldon & Tiptree at the start of 2016-17.

He spent time with Corinthian-Casuals during 2014-15, and apparently also played for Tooting & Mitcham United and Walton & Hersham.

He was also with Bowers & Pitsea during their pre-Isthmian days, and we're starting to believe he has an attraction to ampersands. Perhaps he'll persuade Regent to change their name to Brightlingsea & Regent before the new season?
