Regent call off their game- but announce a winger's arrival

Brightlingsea see the return of a familiar face

Brightlingsea Regent this morning had to postpone a home match due to a waterlogged surface for the first time in seven years- but at least their fans had something to celebrate, as winger Jake Clowsley returned to the club from Clapton.

Jake originally joined the club in November 2015 from Stanway Rovers, and this is his third spell at the Taydal. He made four appearances during their promotion season in 2016-17, and fifteen in the Premier Division the following season- a campaign when he also spent a few months with AFC Sudbury, making twenty four appearances.

He has over one hundred first team appearances with Clacton, at the start of his career- he came through their youth system- and more recently.
