Kingstonian wide man Tom heads to Horsham

Horsham have announced the signing of Kingstonian wide man Tom Richards.

Equally at home as a left back or a left winger, Tom moved to the K's from Dorking Wanderers, where he was a big part of their Isthmian title winning campaign, playing forty four times and weighing in with ten crucial goals. He joined Wanderers from Leatherhead, where he was a crucial part of the squad which reached the Second Round of the FA Cup in 2017-18 and missed out on the playoffs only on goal difference. Tom previously played for AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot Town after coming through the Academy at Fulham.

He joined the K's in the summer of last year, and made twelve appearances as the K's ended the curtailed campaign in fourth.

Hornets boss Dom stated:

“He’s someone I tried to the sign the previous summer, when he went to Kingstonian, but I’ve been an admirer of his since he was at Leatherhead to be honest.

“He’s a good athlete, can get up and down the pitch and play left-back, left-wing, wing-back and as a winger so he will give us a bit more of an option out wide.”
