Robins borrow Hamlet winger

By Ian Townsend

White heads to Carshalton

Dulwich Hamlet yesterday announced that they had once more loaned winger Lewis White to Carshalton Athletic.

Lewis moved to Hamlet last summer, after leaving Millwall, where he came through the Academy setup and was occasionally part of the first team squad. His career was impacted by injury whilst at the New Den, particularly by a hamstring tear which kept him out of action for almost a season. Lewisham born, he was spotted by the Lions after playing against one of their sides for his district.

He made eleven appearances for Hamlet last season, but spent a chunk of the season on loan at Colston Avenue, making fourteen appearances and scoring four goals. No doubt the Athletic faithful will be delighted to have him back.
