Rooks bring in K's defender

By Ian Townsend

Juevan Spencer moves to Lewes

Lewes have strengthened their backline with the arrival of Kingstonian defender Juevan Spencer.

Jueven has been with the K's since the summer of last year, and has made nineteen appearances this season, sixteen last season- what there was of it. Prior to his time at King George's Field he was at...King George's Field, with landlords Corinthian-Casuals. He made close on three hundred appearances for Casuals.

Manager Tony Russell told the club website:

“I have been a fan of Juevan for a long time so I am over the moon to get him over the line. He will bring great pace and energy from full back, something we feel has been missing. He trained with us last night and fitted in so well with the group and that’s a great sign. I would also like to thank Kingstonian and Hayden Bird for their help in getting the deal done so smoothly. A class act both on and off the pitch”.
