Rovers go French again

Striker Connor French returns to Sutton Common Rovers

Sutton Common Rovers had a 'debutant' as they fell to defeat against Westfield on Saturday, as striker Connor French returned for another spell with the club.

Connor got five goals in nine games for the club during a short spell last autumn. He then moved over to Phoenix Sports, but seems to have played only once, a scoring debut in a draw against VCD Athletic.

French prevously had two spells at Tooting and Mitcham United, and was also at Sevenoaks Town and Three Bridges, for whom he found the net twenty times during 2018-19.

The striker has also played for Molesey, Walton Casuals, Dulwich Hamlet, Merstham and Chipstead.
