Rovers move over to new Leafe

Sutton Common Rovers, who announced last week that they were leaving Gander Green Lane at the end of the season, have now confirmed that they will be moving to Church Road, former ground of our old favourites Whyteleafe and these days home to the reborn AFC Whyteleafe.

The club explained:

'Following ground grading talks the sports centre has been very accommodating in getting the facility back up to scratch to play step Step 4 football, and passed the FA grading last Wednesday. The playing surface will undergo a programme of maintenance prior to our season commencement in August.'
