Sutton Common Rovers were very busy in the transfer market yesterday, bringing in five new players.
The first to arrive was Lee Flavin, who as well as playing will be part of the management team. Lee has most recently been with Coggeshall Town in a coaching capacity, and away from his club role is heavily involved in helping to coach young players who are looking to progress up the ladder into the professional game. Lee has played for a number of clubs, including Dagenham & Redbridge, Concord Rangers, St Albans City, Grays Athletic and Leiston.
Goalkeeper James Dillion came over on loan from Chelmsford City, having also played for Stansted this season, and winger Jeffrey Coblah has played for a number of Pitching In Isthmian sides, including Bowers and Pitsea, Basildon United, Witham Town and Coggeshall Town. He also scored lots of goals in a short time with Clapton.
Defender Germain Dua has most recently been with Romford, making fourteen appearances this season, the most recent against Felixstowe & Walton United on December 4th. He previously played for Waltham Abbey and Hertford Town, amongst others.
Finally Marlon Pinder returns to the club. Once a young player at Woking, he previously played for Kingstonian, Redhill, Knaphill, Epsom & Ewell, Shoreham and Molesey.
