Tilbury appoint former Aveley boss Keith

Tilbury last night announced the appointment of former Aveley and Wingate & Finchley boss Keith Rowland as their new manager.

In a statement, they explained:

'The Club are delighted to announce the arrival of new manager Keith Rowland. After a very tough interview process the club felt Keith would be the right fit for our club and the right man to guide the team back up the table. Having played for West Ham, QPR and AFC Bournmouth to name a few plus managing Wingate & Finchley and most recently Aveley Keith certainly has the knowledge and ability to guide the Dockers.

Upon Keith’s appointment Chairman Danny Nash said ‘It is an absolute pleasure to welcome Keith to the club, I have seen with my own eyes what he can achieve and his previous clubs league position don’t lie. I am looking forward to the future and the success we believe Keith Rowland can bring to this club.’

Keith left Parkside- surprisingly- less than a fortnight ago, and replaces Marc Harrison, who is now in charge at East Thurrock United.

We're sure we'll be back with more managerial shuffles soon, given we seem to write about little else lately!
