Tyrone Baker makes Potters Bar Town debut

Potters Bar Town gave a second half debut to winger Tyrone Baker in their narrow FA Trophy defeat against Leiston on Saturday. Baker emerged from the bench just before the hour mark with his side a goal down, but despite his influence the Scholars were unable to find an equaliser.

Tyrone makes the move to The Lantern Stadium from St Ives Town of Pitching In Southern Premier Central- but he has played Isthmian football previously. He was an Under 23 at Bowers and Pitsea before stepping up to the first team, and later played briefly for Heybridge Swifts before moving on to Basildon United. He moved to St Ives in November 2021, having already played seventeen times for the Bees that season.
