Scholars launch an Under 23 side

Clear pathway for players at the Pakex

Potters Bar Town have announced the creation of an Under 23 side, designed to bridge the development gap between the Under 18's and the first team. The club already had teams from Under 18's down to Under 10's.

Malik Yansaneh has been appointed Under 23 manager.

Club Director Adam Waller explains:

"The introduction of a new Under 23’s development team will also help to improve the quality of players that we have access to going forward, which is also really good for the youth at the club because we have access to 10 to 12 youth teams all leading up to Under 18’s and we now have the Under 23’s development side. A lot people like to call them reserves but I don’t like that word; they play in an Under 23’s league and will feed into the First Team and vice versa."
