Scott and Sheehan confirm for the Millers

One new arrival, one returning player for Aveley


Aveley have announced the signing of Braintree Town defender Ryan Scott, and the return of Steve Sheehan- who also joined the club from Braintree, albeit prior to the start of last season.

Ryan has lots of Isthmian experience, with Wingate and Finchley, Billericay Town and East Thurrock United, before moving into National League South- first with the Rocks, then later with Concord Rangers and Braintree.

Prior to his time at Braintree, Steve previously played for East Thurrock United, Billericay Town and Canvey Island.

He had two spells with the Rocks, and two with the Gulls, making one hundred and ninety six appearances for United and another one hundred and ninety two on the Island. Last season he made fourteen appearances, scoring two goals- both in the same match, an FA Cup victory at Brantham Athletic.
