Seasiders awarded ground improvement funding

Goldstar Ground to get an upgrade

Felixstowe and Walton United this afternoon announced that they have been awarded thirty-eight thousand pounds for ground improvement work.

The cash, which comes from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund which gets its funding from the Premier League, will go towards new seating, new boundary fencing, improved pitch perimeter railings and a covered hard-standing area for supporters. Additional money required to do this work was raised by Seasiders supporters via various initiatives.
