A week after beating Corinthian Casuals on penalties after extra-time in their play-off final to secure promotion to the Ryman Premier, White named Dean Milton as his new number two and successor to Gary Pascoe following a successful season as a first team coach at the Ryman South runners-up.
Skipper Chris Boulter is taking on a dual role in the reshuffle following Pascoe's departure, continuing as a player but also working as an assistant coach as part of his coaching development with White, coach Tom Duke, goalkeeping coach Tony Prime, fitness coach Karen Marshall and physio Grant Steele.
Pictured celebrating promotion last weekend at the Westhumble Playing Fields, White, who is also the Surrey club's chairman, told fans in a statement over the weekend that he believes both will be key to a successful maiden season in the Ryman's top flight.
White said: “Internal recruitment is a vital part of the philosophy of Dorking Wanderers and we’re delighted that both Dean and Chris have accepted the roles offered to them. Both have been a pivotal part of the club in recent years, and as such have a very strong rapport with both the players and backroom team. I’m sure they will strengthen our existing management structure."
Thanking Pascoe for his role in their success, he added: “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Gary Pascoe for his hard work and help in securing our promotion last season. Gary leaves with our very best wishes and we wish him well in his next role in football."
