South Coast Rocks strengthen

Now we have two Premier Division Rocks, it's important to be specific! News from Bognor.

Bognor Regis Town have delivered some good news to their supporters this week, with not one, not two, but three signings.

First up was a return for Portsmouth striker Dan Smith. The young forward, who made twenty one appearances for the Nyewood Lane outfit before Pompey moved him on to Cork City, has recently been released by his parent club and has reported spurned interest from higher up the pyramid to return to the Rocks. He found the net twelve times during his brief period with the club, including a spell of eight goals in six matches during August and September. Read the whole story via the Bognor Regis Observer.

The next signing is also a Pompey old boy, although not at all old! Eighteen year old midfielder Freddie Read returns to Nyewood Lane after playing four times for the club over December and January.

The final signing is also well known to the Rocks faithful, as Stuart Green returns to Nyewood Lane. The midfield general left the club in May 2016 and has most recently turned out for AFC Totton, who ended last season in tenth place in Southern League South.
