A statement from the Board of the Pitching In Isthmian League

Following the abandonment of the Southall FC v Chipstead FC match yesterday (27th April 2024), Chipstead FC were charged under Isthmian League Rule 8.38, causing a match to be abandoned.
The Chair of Chipstead FC attended an hearing held this morning by the Isthmian Football League’s Emergency Committee.

Chipstead FC confirmed that their players failed to take the field of play for the second half of the match following an altercation that occurred at the end of the first half of the match.

The decision of the Emergency Committee was that three points be awarded to Southall FC as provided for in the League Rule.

The South-Central Play off Semi Final matches will proceed on Wednesday 1st May as follows:

Marlow FC v Westfield FC
Leatherhead FC v Southall FC

The reasons behind Chipstead FC not taking the field of play for the second half of the match, will be dealt with by The Football Association under their regulations.
