Sponsor raises the bar

Ryman League Kingstonian's new main sponsors Anderson Travel are hoping their five figure boost to the coffers at Kingsmeadow will lead to a season of success.

The Premier Division's Ks announced on Wednesday that the travel experts were returning as main sponsors with a front of shirt deal that continues an association stretching back seven years.

Anderson Travel's Company Director Mark Anderson, pictured, is on the Ks board and was previously joint chairman after first becoming involved with the club. He believes the company's brand will be in safe hands next season under Alan Dowson and hopes the Ks manager will benefit from a boost to his playing budget.

He said: "Anderson Travel and I have been committed to the Kingstonian cause over the past seven years. There is a fantastic group of people involved in the running of Kingstonian and huge steps have been taken in order to secure the long term future of this great club.

"Everyone is working very hard to turn this progress into success on the field of play. We fully understand that, no matter what is achieved in the background, a club is judged by what happens to the first team and at what level of the pyramid they are playing at.

"It is now time that we fulfil those ambitions, and if Anderson Travel can add a little to the budget for Alan Dowson to achieve the success he so deserves then we are happy to play our part."
