Sponsors hail Ryman partnership

Precision Golden Gloves Awards

The Ryman League's new Golden Glove sponsors have called the partnership a 'significant' step forward for their brand.

Nottingham-based Reydon Sports PLC - the UK's largest sports and leisure wholesale and distribution company -
are sponsoring the monthly 'safe hands' accolade via Precision Goalkeeping, Britain’s fastest growing goalkeeping glove brand.

The new agreement sees the league's outstanding keeper in the Ryman Premier, Ryman South and Ryman North Divisions receive a Golden Glove Award and a pair of Precision Goalkeeping gloves as their prize. September's inaugural winners in the Ryman's three divisions were named last month as Bognor Regis Town's Mark Zawadski, Guernsey's Chris Tardif and Tilbury's Chico Ramos.

The Nottingham-based company have an illustrious stable of professional goalkeepers and have supported Non-League and grassroots since their establishment in 2005.

David Sanderson, Precision's Brand and Marketing Director, said: "We are thrilled and excited to have agreed this partnership with the Ryman League. The standard of Non-League football has risen tremendously in recent times and this represents a significant step for the Precision brand.

"We feel it is important to support goalkeeping at all levels, from grassroots to the elite game. The Ryman Football League has a long and successful history in the game and we are extremely proud to now be a part of it."

Ryman League Chairman Alan Turvey welcomed the company on board and said: "We are delighted to welcome Precision into our commercial programme as the latest partner to The Ryman League. Their involvement will provide an added incentive for goalkeepers to perform to the best of their ability which will undoubtedly have a positive impact upon the league."

He added: "You only have to look at some of the professional goalkeepers who are in the Precision stable to realise the quality of their products and their dedication to excellence."

Precision boast an impressive list of keeping talent on their books including Kasper Schmeichel, Kieren Westwood, Tomasz Kuszczak, Darren Randolph, David Forde, Frank Fielding, Brian Jensen, Robert Olejnik, Andy Lonergan, Ian McLoughlin, Trevor Carson and Republic of Ireland goalkeeping coach and former international Alan Kelly.

Former England manager Graham Taylor is lead Brand Ambassador for parent company Precision who also have official partnerships with the Irish Football Association and the Football Association of Wales.
