Sports strengthen their strikeforce

Two new arrivals- well, one new arrival and one returning hero- land at the end of the runway

Bedfont Sports have announced the signings of strikers Lucas Sinclair and Jamie Read.

Lucas helped Burnham win the Hellenic League title last season, and also starred in their run to the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, where they lost to National League South Billericay Town after knocking out our very own Bury Town along the way. He scored 34 goals last season before joining Southern League side Beaconsfield Town, but it hasn't really worked out for him there and now Sports fans will hope to see what he can do!

Jamie will be far more familiar to the locals, as he has apparently got 41 goals in 63 appearances for the club and is nicknamed 'The King'- and we don't think that's because he wears a white spangled jump suit and curls his top lip. He originally joined the club from Egham in January 2014, and the local paper ran the story of that move with the headline, "New signing could save Bedfont from the drop." He went on to do just that, so we'll be asking them to predict the lottery numbers next. He previously played for Spelthorne Sports.

You can read more on these stories by heading here- and we've no doubt they'll appear on an inferior website with a stolen photograph very soon!
